Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Duel Links Kick Off “Road to Worlds 2025”

Konami has officially launched the Road to Worlds 2025 campaign, allowing players of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Duel Links to compete for a spot in the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025, which will take place in Paris, France from August 29 to 31.

Players can participate in WCS Qualifiers, with Stage 1 running from June 3 to 15 and Stage 2 from June 12 to 16. The campaign also introduces new in-game rewards, including a UR Royal Finish Card, an exclusive icon, and 1,000 gems. Additionally, Duel Links players will receive login bonuses for Speed Duel and Rush Duel, offering Dream UR Tickets, Box Chips, and Chronicle Card Processing options.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Hits 3.3 Million Sales in 33 Days

The turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has reached a remarkable milestone, selling 3.3 million copies in just 33 days since its release on April 24, 2025.

Developed by Sandfall Interactive, the game has received widespread acclaim for its art style inspired by classical paintings, melancholic yet immersive world, and innovative combat system blending real-time mechanics with JRPG strategy. Even French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated the developers on their success. The game is now considered a strong contender for Game of the Year (GOTY) at The Game Awards 2025.

Honkai: Star Rail Announces Fate/Stay Night Collaboration

HoYoverse has officially revealed a collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/Stay Night, set to launch on July 11, 2025.

The crossover will introduce two iconic characters, Saber and Archer, as playable units. Saber will be a 5-star Wind Destruction character, while Archer will be a 5-star Quantum Hunt character. Players will be able to claim Archer for free by logging in during the event period. The collaboration will also feature a special in-game event called “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” which will immerse players in a Penaconian Holy Grail War storyline.

Marvel Rivals to Introduce X-Men Characters

The hero shooter Marvel Rivals is expanding its roster with several X-Men characters, according to recent leaks.

Upcoming additions include Phoenix, Professor X, Gambit, and Rogue, alongside Daredevil and Blade. The game’s Season 2.5 update has already introduced Ultron and a new map, Arakko, inspired by X-Men lore. The leaks suggest that monthly hero releases will continue in Season 3, starting in July 2025.

Infinity Nikki Faces Harsh Criticism on CH Play

Despite high expectations, Infinity Nikki, the open-world dress-up RPG, has received overwhelmingly negative reviews on CH Play, currently holding a 1.9-star rating.

Players have criticized the game’s gacha mechanics, which have become increasingly expensive, requiring 220 pulls to complete an outfit. Additionally, a controversial update removed a beloved intro sequence, replacing it with a confusing new storyline. The game’s co-op mode and new map have also been plagued by technical issues, leaving many players unable to access the game for weeks.
