Cat Kitchen: a cat restaurant tycoon game in your browser

You are a cat back in your home village with nothing to your name. Granny Ba lends you 2,000 coins to open a café on an abandoned lakeside plot. From there you fish, farm, cook, clear tables and take payments yourself, then hire cat staff, expand the café and make every loan payment before the interest catches up.

How to play

Start with a loan

Granny Ba lends 2,000 coins at 5% a day, with a minimum payment of 300 coins a day. Pick your owner cat's fur, name the café and sign.

Grow your own ingredients

Fish in the lake, water and harvest vegetable plots, feed the cows grass for milk, raise pigs, keep chickens for eggs and wait for the orange tree to fruit. Rain waters the crops for free.

11 dishes, 6 kitchen stations

Grilled fish, salad, milkshake, veggie soup, sushi, BBQ meat, fried egg, orange juice, cake, flan and hotpot, cooked on the grill, prep table, soup pot, blender, oven and hotpot stove.

Guests rate you for real

Guests score five things: fast service, hot food, a clean and pretty seat, fair prices and a warm welcome. Each type of guest cares about something different. Your average stars decide how busy the café gets, and a food reviewer drops by now and then.

Hire cats, pay wages

Hire waiter cats and porter cats by standing on their price pad in the café. Wages are paid daily; leave them unpaid one more day and a cat quits.

Café hours and weather

One café hour is 30 seconds of play, with lunch and dinner rushes, busier weekends and closing time from 22:00 to 06:00. Sun turns to rain, and guests at outdoor tables run for shelter.

A ledger on real time

Wages, interest and loan payments close at 06:00 on your device's clock, so the café keeps its rhythm even while the game is closed.

Decorate your way

Tap an item and drag to move it, rotate it or put it away. The game warns you the moment a piece blocks your guests' path.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cat Kitchen free?
Yes. It is free to play in the browser, with no install and no account. In-game coins are virtual: they cannot be bought with real money or cashed out.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It is built for portrait screens: drag the joystick to walk, stand on a gold pad to buy, stand in the white zone to work. On a computer it switches to a landscape layout, with WASD or the arrow keys to walk.
Will I lose my progress?
Progress is saved on your device, with a backup copy that restores it if the browser clears its storage. Switching devices or clearing browser data starts a new café.
Is the game in English?
Yes. The interface, dialogue and voices are available in both Vietnamese and English. Open the English page and the game runs in English.
What is it built with?
Three.js (WebGL) for the voxel 3D rendering, Vite for bundling, and voices generated with ElevenLabs. The whole build is about 8 MB and runs straight in the browser.
