Cat Kitchen – Quán Mèo

Cat Kitchen is a café tycoon in a voxel world, built by Golden Sea to run from a link on an ordinary phone. You play a cat who comes home broke: Granny Ba lends 2,000 coins at 5% a day to open a café on an abandoned lakeside plot, and from there every coin has to be earned by hand before it can be spent on helpers.

The loop starts with the player doing everything. You fish in the lake, water and harvest vegetables, feed cows for milk and raise pigs and chickens, then carry the ingredients to six kitchen stations that make 11 dishes, from grilled fish to hotpot. Dishes cool and spoil if they wait too long. Guests rate the café on five factors, fast service, hot food, a clean and pretty seat, fair prices and a warm welcome, and the average decides how many come back. As the café grows you hire waiter and porter cats with daily wages, so the game shifts from doing to managing.

Time runs on two clocks. A café day lasts 12 minutes of play, with lunch and dinner rushes, weekends, weather and a closing time, while wages, interest and loan payments close at 06:00 on the device's real clock. Progress is saved on the device twice, in localStorage and IndexedDB, so a browser that clears one store does not wipe the café.

The interface was designed phone first with a separate landscape layout for desktop, in Vietnamese and English with voiced lines in both. The release build is about 8 MB, the game code is minified and obfuscated with no source maps, and it was checked on phone and desktop screen sizes before release.
