KARASTAR — Play-to-Earn Ecosystem
Discipline
Blockchain / GameFi
Full GameFi ecosystem: NFT characters, dual-token economy, staking, and PvP on BNB Chain.

The brief
From a real problem to a working product.
KARASTAR is one of the most complete GameFi products Golden Sea has shipped. The client — a crypto-native gaming studio — had a strong concept but no technical team. They needed a partner who could handle both game development and blockchain architecture simultaneously.
We designed a dual-token model: KAR is the in-game utility token earned through gameplay and spent on items, breeding, and entry fees. KSHARE is the governance and staking token, distributed to long-term holders to align incentives with the project's growth. This structure — common in successful DeFi protocols, applied to gaming — gives players meaningful reasons to hold rather than immediately dump earnings.
All smart contracts were written in Solidity and deployed on BNB Chain for low gas fees. Before mainnet, we engaged CertiK for a full security audit — standard practice for any project handling user funds. Issues flagged in the audit were resolved before a single line went live.
The Unity game client connects to Web3 via a custom SDK we built on top of Web3.js. Players can use MetaMask or WalletConnect. The blockchain layer runs invisibly: from inside the game, everything feels like a normal mobile RPG. Only when players open the wallet tab do they interact with on-chain assets directly.
Post-launch, the project attracted 15,000+ registered wallets in the first 30 days.
