Dirac Finance — TradFi-to-DeFi Yield

Traditional finance has decades of battle-tested yield strategies — covered calls, protective puts, structured notes, and systematic hedging mechanisms. Most crypto investors can't access these because the complexity is prohibitive. Dirac Finance was built to change that.

Golden Sea translated proven TradFi yield strategies into Solidity smart contracts deployed on Polygon. The core products are option vaults: users deposit assets, the vault executes a systematic options strategy (writing covered calls for yield in the ETH Call Vault, buying protective puts in the ETH Put Vault), and distributes premiums back to depositors. The strategy logic that would require a brokerage account and options trading approval in TradFi runs permissionlessly on-chain.

The biggest challenges were volatility management and complexity concealment. Market volatility can destabilize options strategies — we built diversified hedging layers with audited smart contract insurance mechanisms to bound downside risk. On the UX side, the dApp hides all strategy complexity: investors interact with a deposit/withdraw interface and a clear yield display. The options mechanics are accessible via an education section for users who want to understand, but completely invisible for those who don't.

All contracts were independently audited before deployment. The transparent reporting dashboard shows historical vault performance, current positions, risk metrics, and realized yield — providing the institutional-grade reporting that sophisticated investors expect, in a DeFi-native format.
