High-fidelity 9-ball pool simulation with competitive online play.

The brief
From a real problem to a working product.
Building a realistic pool game is a physics problem first. Off-the-shelf Unity physics can't accurately simulate billiard ball behavior — english (spin), masse, and bank shots require a custom physics solution. We built one from scratch.
The result handles all major shot types with high accuracy: top spin, back spin, side english, jump shots. Trajectory prediction lines are calculated in real time using the same physics model, so what you aim is what you get.
Online multiplayer uses Photon PUN with a turn-based sync model — ideal for pool, where each player has dedicated action time. ELO-based matchmaking ensures fair competition. A tournament mode with brackets and prize pools drives weekly engagement spikes.
