Moonkits — On-Chain Creator Marketplace

Creators who sell templates, UI kits and design assets on the big marketplaces share the same problem: the platform controls the sale. They pay 30 to 50% commission, never get to know their buyers, and earn nothing when a buyer resells their work.

Moonkits sells digital products as NFTs on Solana. When a creator lists a UI kit or a coded template, each licence is minted as an NFT. The buyer gets the NFT as proof of purchase, and the creator is paid directly, with only a small network fee taken.

Because licences are tokens, they can be resold, and the original creator earns a royalty on every resale, set when the item is minted. A template sold 500 times directly might change hands another 200 times later, and each of those pays the creator too.

The contracts are written in Rust on Solana, chosen for 400 ms block finality and transaction costs below one cent, which matters when items start at $0.10. The React front end works like any web shop, with categories, previews and live demos, and the blockchain checkout happens in the background.
